My Own Journey

My own challenges with anxiety led me on a path to study psychology, and to become a psychotherapist. 


When I was younger, I worried a lot and used sports as a way to cope. This helped, but not all the time! I realized that I had to learn better strategies to manage my anxiety.


Cognitive behavioral therapy was the epiphany for me. I discovered that I was not my thoughts, and that with the right strategies, I could manage my anxiety and get back in control.
